3 years ago • 9 notesI just returned from visiting The Aquarium of Western Australia!
Hillary Boat Harbour is a very cute little part of Perth. It’s got a beautiful beach nearby, lots of quaint little shops and restaurants too.
It would be even better if we had one of the nice boats parked in the harbour to ride around on.
The best part was the aquarium, it was so cool to see all the beautiful wildlife of the sea! We got to see sharks and all sorts of cool fish. We got to touch stringrays and starfish. We saw so many fish like the ones in Finding Nemo, they’re so cute!
It was a lot of fun, we’re going to go back sometime soon. I’m going to spend the rest of the weekend getting ready for my 2 week trip to the Northern part of Australia.
Cheers!

It was a really cool experience to be on-set for a big film and I love how it turned out so far according to the trailer.
You can’t see me, but I was in the scene at the end where they’re walking into the club, I’m actually outside waiting in line to get in.
I can’t wait to see how the whole film turns out, I’m excited about the cast, it looks like it’ll be a fun film!

We set up our tents, and rented bikes to go around the island. The view all around us was just spectacular.
We spent most of our night on the beach beside our campsite looking at the stars. It was so magical and peaceful.
They have these little cute creatures called Quokkas that can only be found on that island, nowhere else in the world. They’re so used to humans that they were all around us.
It will go down as one of the best places I’ve been to in Australia.

Remember me?
I’ve been a bad busy blogger. I’m in the Newsroom at my school abroad on my day off doing an assignment. Who would have thought?
Needless to say, it’s a nice newsroom, with lots of pretty Macs. So I thought I’d say Hi!
3 years ago • 3 notesValentine’s Day is almost coming to an end here in Melbourne! Madeline and I met up with some of my old neighbours from my hometown who have moved here. They have the most beautiful home. We had a lovely time and they fed us like kings!
As if this is the view they wake up to everyday…

So Madeline and I watched the Olympic opening ceremonies today. It made us miss our homeland of Canada very much, but we’re spreading the Canadian pride all over Melbourne and the rest of Australia.
I’m very excited to cheer on my homeland! They ceremonies were great, there were some difficulties, but I was so excited I didn’t care!

I’ve never seen so much rain in my life. Yesterday or the day before (days are so long here) we got caught in a torrential downpour. We had to postpone our visit to the Zoo.

Our last day in Sydney was spent on a beach! I swam in the ocean and got a bit of a tan in a lovely famous beach called Bondi Beach. We had met up with a friend of Madeline’s and visited her cousins gorgeous house. We went to a pub for a drink before making our way back to the hostel and who did we find inside the pub?
Sam Worthington. He plays the little part of Jake Sully in the small movie Avatar.
